London, 16.06.2023 - Ahead of the highly anticipated EUROBIKE 2023, the team of navigation experts at Beeline gives a brief overview of new features and updates to Beeline products for cyclists.
For anyone who likes to use a slightly larger screen for planning, the Beeline app is now also available for iPad!
For the past few weeks, the Beeliner community in the DACH region has also been able to use Beeline’s intuitive route planning on the larger screen of their iPad. This makes various steps, such as editing waypoints to adjust a route, even easier. Anyone who has previously used the Beeline iPhone app on an iPad should first download the new iPad-specific app from the App Store and sign in with their usual account details. iPad users who have signed into their Beeline accounts will immediately see all the information from the iPhone app.
There is also an extra bonus: anyone with a MacBook with an M1 processor or newer can use the iPad app as a desktop version!
The steps for using it on the iPad are explained again here.
The Beeline community in the DACH region has been out and about with Beeline and the Velo 2 in huge numbers since spring, and because many Beeliners in this market also plan their routes using the komoot app, Beeline launched a small tutorial campaign in June on using Velo 2 x komoot. Even though the strength of Beeline Smart Routings lies especially in the three route options (fast, balanced, quiet) and the rating of route sections by the Beeline community, it is understandable that users may also want to rely on route planning from other planning tools. Many people were not aware that they can also use their Velo 2 navigation device with routes from other providers - above all komoot.
In addition to a detailed blog post, the topic will also be featured on social media and will be visible in different language versions over the summer months.
Now then, let’s have some Handkäs with Ebbelwoi! You all know the feeling: spending the whole day at the trade fair looking at bike parts - the noise level is intense, the air conditioning is nice and cold, but fresh air is something else entirely, and you basically have to talk constantly. Before you either crawl back to the hotel exhausted after the fair or go out for a bite to eat, wouldn’t you like to go for a little ride somehow? Nothing could be easier!
In the excitement leading up to EUROBIKE, we thought we’d treat the fans of our blog (and ourselves) to a small selection of routes around Frankfurt that take us out of the city and into nature to unwind.
There are also a few longer routes, but two of the tours are definitely a fine contrast to tiring trade fair days - and the Ebbelwoi will still be cold afterward!
You can find the tours on our blog...The question is: Who wants to join us for an after-work ride at EUROBIKE? Get in touch - we're riding for ice cream! 🚲 🍨
The Beeline community continues to grow and we are breaking one record after another. The Beeline Explorometer is currently recording almost 2.5 million rides! That certainly deserves applause...
The Beeline Velo 2 navigation device is available worldwide through specialist retailers or can be ordered via the Beeline website.
